Warranty terms

Thank you for visiting our warranty page. Let us first start by ensuring you that your satisfaction is our primary goal, and we will work diligently to ensure nothing but the best customer service, and products, and their safe arrival to you! We have served many people through the years, and have shipped many computers systems and components safely, globally. However, we all know things happen, and we will do our best should anything occur, to make sure that there is as little pain through this process as possible. 


LUCID GUARANTEE | All Computer systems will be built with the utmost care and precision, proudly in the USA! We will include no bloatware, or unnecessary software. We WILL performance test every system to make sure you receive the best performing computer in the industry! We will NOT sacrifice our standards ever, and while that does not make us the cheapest in the market, it does allow us to maintain integrity in every system we produce!
 
 
WARRANTY COVERAGE TERMS | Lucid Made, a Precision Group LLC company, creates all hardware products using new/equivalent components. All parts will be properly installed. All parts are tested to ensure proper functionality before being shipped. If you purchase new sealed products from our store, we do NOT test these items, and any defects in manufacturing would need to be taken up with the appropriate hardware manufacturer. If you purchase any “open box” or “pre-owned” merchandise, those items come with a 30-day warranty, and may carry the duration of the manufacturer warranty, but is out of the control of Lucid Made. Any items that are custom made, are not refundable/returnable. We “stress test” all computers, to ensure maximum performance and reliability. This period can last for a time frame of up to 48 hours, and ensures if there are any initial product failures, it happens before your new system is delivered to you.

All computers $1000 and under carry a 6 month technical support and parts and labor warranty.

All other items carry a 6 month warranty unless otherwise specified
 
WARRANTY COVERAGE | Lucid Made does NOT cover damage caused by; neglect, misuse, improper installation, alterations, non-compliance, accidental, or abusive, or physical damage. Lucid does NOT warranty items from normal wear, alterations of products from anyone other than Lucid direct staff, damage caused by user error, damage caused by acts of nature such as; hurricane, floods, lightning storms, fires, earthquake, power surges etc. Damage from a computer virus of any sort, including data corruption or hardware failure due to unnecessary overloading of components. Damage caused by humidity, or unnecessary moisture, or in liquid cooled computers, liquid leaks or damage due to improper handling of the cooling system. Damage caused by other components installed not provided by Lucid. Software including any not installed by Lucid or its staff, programs, games, and their supported software is not warranted or supported.
Products showing evidence of tampering, or changing of original products from purchase, misuse, neglect, improper handling, extreme temperatures, electrical surges, burns, fire, water damage will NOT be covered. All cords provided must be used, the use of any other power cords, or any other cords will void this warranty. All these terms are expressly agreed upon before making a purchase, and will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law. Technical support warranty is only for products provided by Lucid, and does not apply to other software, games, operating systems, hardware, peripherals, cabling, or other items not purchased directly from Lucid Gaming PC’s. Although we do provide operating systems and some software, we do not write, or support that software, and only have limited access to assistance when it comes to software issues. REPAIR | System repairs are performed in house by Lucid Made, and any components removed/replaced are the property of Lucid. Any items used to repair your computer under warranty are replacements for any items damaged/removed.

When a repair is completed on your computer, the warranty period is not extended in any way, any remaining original warranty period is still intact, and an extended warranty cannot be purchased at this time.
 
Lucid Made takes responsibility for any hardware repair and replacement, and is limited to the specifics as set out in this policy. Our 1-year warranty term is complete, any other warranties implied or expressed are not guaranteed by Lucid or its staff or affiliates.
 
 
SHIPPING | Please inspect all products as soon as they are received. Any shipping discrepancies, whether damage, missing products, or any other instances, must be reported within 3 days of receipt. Products under warranty for repair/replacement – All products must be return shipped in the original or equivalent properly packed packaging. Any RMA (return merchandise authorization) numbers must be written clearly on the outside of the packaging. These numbers must be acquired before any warranty processes can begin. All products must be returned completely, not missing any vital components, or a fee may be charged to acquire any missing items.
Any computers being sent in for repair will be WIPED clean, meaning the hard drive will be erased, unless absolutely not necessary as deemed by our staff. Lucid Made takes no liability or responsibility for any data loss when a PC is shipped to us for repair/replacement. We are not required to advise of proper backup, or data removal processes. We do have data transfer services available, but those are only handled on a per request basis, and are not included in any warranty services.
 
DAMAGE & DISCREPANCIES | Lucid is not responsible for any damage caused by shipping carriers, however all items are insured, and we will work diligently to handle any damages with the shipping carrier. We CANNOT hurry their processes, and all proper procedures need to be followed. The shipping carrier, and Lucid must be notified immediately, and photos must be taken of any physical damage in order to file the proper claims. Any damage claims must be taken care of IMMEDIATELY, we will work diligently to handle any damage caused by shipping. If shipping damages do occur, please remain calm, and understand we will do everything within our power to assist you as quickly as possible.
 
RETURN SHIPPING | Lucid has developed a shipping process to ensure safe delivery of our items/systems. To make your life easier, we take out the guess work. It is our recommendation to take the shipping box, packaging materials, and save them together in a secure dry place to be used if any return shipping is necessary. Lucid reserves the right to charge for any damage caused by items return shipped to us using improper packaging. You as the customer is responsible for return shipping to and from Lucid Made for any warranty related purposes.
 
If you do NOT save the original packaging, proper guidelines must be followed. Any boxes use must be rated for the appropriate weight of the items being shipped. Proper internal packaging foam must be used, to secure the items from any damage. Secure packaging of return shipments is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Tracking must be provided for any return shipments, and we STRONGLY recommend acquiring insurance on  any packages sent to Lucid. If damage is caused in transit, you as the “shipper” will be required to file a claim for the insurance, and we will do our due diligence to assist in this process.
 
Lucid and its affiliates do NOT accept any COD packages.
 
 
 
 
 
RMA AUTHORIZATION | Any items need to have an RMA number before being returned to Lucid. Any items that arrive without an RMA number will NOT be the responsibility of Lucid to sort out, or figure out what items are included in unmarked returns, and may be refused delivery and thus returned to sender. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the packaging, and any accompanying information must be provided as requested. RMA numbers are good for a period of 10 days, at which time if we have not received your return, a new RMA would need to be processed. To further state, please purchase the proper insurance for any items being returned for warranty purposes, package them in their provided packaging (or consult your local shipping service provider). Lucid will not be responsible, for any damage to a package or its contents and may charge for damaged products received for return purposes.
